Memorial services for Janis Elaine Cox, 83, of Levelland, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel. She passed away October 22,
2022. Janis was born January 20, 1939, to John James and Nora Pearl Bryant, in Pettit. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Janis was preceded in death by her husband, William “Wimp” Cox; parents, John and Nora Bryant; daughter, Melanie; son, Mark; and a daughter-in-law, LindaCox. She is survived by her sons: Billy Cox of Marble Falls, John Cox, Steven Cox and Benjamin and wife, Shauna Cox, all of Levelland; brother, Dale Cox of Oklahoma; sisters, Merle Taylor of Levelland and Mary Koster of Dover, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; and one greatgreat-grandchild. Arrangements are under the direction of Krestridge Funeral Home.
