Jearold started and owned several businesses, including building mini-storage facilities in the Levelland area. For many years, he was a salesperson for Gentry Ford. When he moved to Fort Worth, he started an aerobic septic business and later sold and developed land. Jearold was a true businessman and entrepreneur.
He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, NASCAR races, and drinking beer. You’d often find him on his back patio cooking ribs and drinking with friends or family. Jearold is survived by his wife, Judy; sons, Jeff (Trisha) Kelly of Burleson, Texas, and Jody Kelly of Weimar, Texas; step-children: Thomas (Tonya) Parkinson of Floresville, Texas, Kori (Mark) McNeal of Andover, Kansas and Travis (Lynette) Parkinson of Graford, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and nine greatgrandchildren.
A private celebration of life will be held in November at the couple’s lake home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (cff.org) in honor of Jearold’s greatgranddaughter who lives with CF.
