Trunk or Treat at the square

The Levelland Main Street program has partnered with The Wallace Theater and The Levelland Noon Lions Club to bring two nights of family fun to the square. On October 31st, the streets will be closed around the square from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to allow for a safe environment. The annual Trunk or Treat event are for the whole family.

“It’s nice when you can make one stop, showcase the kid costumes, stop at around 40 decorated trunks for treats and enjoy a ton of moments posing with your favorite monstrous inflatable, or Tik-Tok your way around the square and try and capture over 40 different characters,” said Main Street Manager Tania Moody.

Food truck options will be on the square.

This year there will be a costume contest and both the wearer and the costume maker get a prize. It’s a free-for-all, as anyone is welcome to walk the gazebo stage and show off their costume.

Only children under the age of 12-years-old may enter to win.

First place wins $100 Downtown Dollars Gift Card for the maker and 10-McDonalds Happy Meals for the wearer. Second place earns $75 and 5, while third place takes home $50 & 3.

To enter, check in at the gazebo at 7 p.m.
