11/12/22 – 10:29 PM – 1900 block of S Highway 385 An officer patrolling the area observed a vehicle traveling north bound at a high rate of speed. After conducting a traffic stop, one individual was arrested for the possession of marijuana less than two ounces.
11/12/22 – 3:15 PM – 1900 block of S College Avenue An officer responded to the area regarding an assault between siblings. A report was generated and an affidavit of non-prosecution was later field to the victim not wanting to pursue charges.
11/12/22 – 2:45 PM – 1800 block of Ninth St An officer responded to the area in reference to vandalism. A report for criminal mischief was later generated.
11/11/22 – 5:53 PM – 900 block of Avenue D An additional officer responded to the area to assist another officer. After a field investigation, a report was generated for the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and criminal trespass in a habitation, superfund site.
11/11/22 – 5:15 PM – 1300 block of Avenue H An officer made contact with an individual who was being harassed. A report was for harassment was made.
11/10/22 – 10:56 PM – 800 block of Houston Street An officer responded to the are in reference to a theft of an outdoor security camera. A report was generated.
11/8/22 – 10:22 PM – 300 block of E Highway 114 An officer patrolling the area conducted a traffic stop for a defective head lamp. Upon further investigation, the officer noticed an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle in question. After investigating the issue, the driver of the vehicle was placed under arrest for the possession of marijuana.
11/8/22 – 2:05 AM – 500 block of Ninth Street Officers were dispatched to the area in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, an investigation was conducted. After detaining an individual, narcotics were discovered on the individual. The person was arrested for the possession of a controlled substance less than one gram.
11/7/22 – 9:27 AM – 1900 block of Avenue H An officer was dispatched to the area in reference to a burglary. A report for a burglary was generated.
11/5/22 – 12:08 PM – 700 block of Martin Luther King Avenue An officer responded to the area in reference to the theft of license plates.
11/5/22 – 2:41 AM – 500 block of 15th Street An officer responded to a call for service and executed a warrant. An individual was transported to the Hockley County Jail.
11/3/22 – 7 PM – 1000 block of S College Avenue An officer was dispatched to a business in reference to a counter fit bill being used. Upon arrival, the suspect was identified and arrested for forgery.
11/2/22 – 2:45 PM – 100 block of N Avenue K An officer responded to the area in reference to a theft. A report was later generated then terminated.
