I’ll take pride in being the nagging voice in the back of all of your minds reminding everyone to travel safely and be mindful of the conditions.
It might sound odd coming from me, but I’ve heard and seen more wrecks than I would like to in a short period of time in our county.
The weather looks to be warming up for all of our Thanksgiving activities, but the dangers on the road are always there and it would be a shame if anything happened before or after you see the Dallas Cowboys lose on Thanksgiving day.
Additionally, I’d like to wish safe travels for the Whitharral Panther football team as they have the opportunity to pack some left over turkey sandwhiches and go down the Hermleigh Friday to play the Balmarrhea Bears.
I got to cover the area game in Lubbock and those kids can play ball.
