Keep Levelland Beautiful will be holding its annual Best Decorated Business of the Month and Best Decorated Home of the Month through the holiday season.
Awards for the best decorations for home and business will be presented in December.
Theme, creativity and originality in ornamental lighting and decoration will be considered, as will daylight and evening display.
Home and businesses will be judges solely on the exterior appearance of their property as views from the street.
General maintenance and upkeep of the yard and outside of the building is included in the judging.
Overall appearance, tastefulness, creativity, decoraing in the “spirit of the holiday” and a visually appealing facade are considered.
All current residents and businesses in the zip code of 79336, occupied and rental, are eligible to participate.
Judging will take place December 12 through December 16. Winners will be announced on December 20.
Winning home and business will receive a sign to be displayed and will also be recognized by Keep Levelland Beautiful Social Media and local press partners.
