According to DPS reports, a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Highway 385 and FM 1585 about 3 miles south of Levelland left one person dead and another injured Wednesday night.
Around 7 p.m., a 2010 Chevrolet driven by Zabrian Xzavier Granado, 33, of Levelland was travelling west on 1585.
A 2014 GMC Yukon driven by Tracy Marie Baten, 49, of Levelland traveled north on Highway 385.
Granado failed to stop at the designated sign resulting in crossing Baten’s path. The vehicles collided in the intersection.
Baten was transported to Covenant Hospital in Lubbock for incapacitating injuries, Granado was pronounced dead by the Justice of the Peace.
