The Texas Department of Public Safety reports a deadly wreck in Lynn County that claimed the lives of two girls Wednesday/ A 2006 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling west on FM 2053 about 1.23 miles northeast of O’Donnell when it drifted across traffic into the ditch.
The driver overcorrected twice, causing the vehicle to skid sideways into the south ditch where it rolled before coming to a rest.
The driver, a 15-year-old minor was transported to the hospital for incapacitating injuries. The other two passengers, another 15-year-old-minor and 18-year-old Jadyn Taylor Boyd of O’Donnell were pronounced dead on the scene of the crash.
