1/8/2023 – DISPATCH 11 AM – CLEARED 11:58 AM – HOCKLEY COUNTY The fire department received a phone call in reference to a small grass fire with a power line down near at the intersection of US Highway 385 and USA Road. Fire units responded to the location and upon arrival, crew located the fire but it was already put out. Crew located the downed power line and Lamb County Electric responded to the location.
1/6/2023 – DISPATCH 10 AM – CLEARED 10:40 AM – HOCKLEY COUNTY,WHITHARRAL The fire department received a call from dispatch in reference to a cotton pile on fire at N US Highway 385 and Maine Road. Upon arrival, fire personnel had found the cotton pile to be small and burning for multiple days. The fire was put out and advised Levelland PD if there was an additional call to let the pile burn unless it was blowing across the highway.
1/3/2023 – DISPATCH 7:57 AM – CLEARED 8:40 AM – HOCKLEY COUNTY,WHITHARRAL The fire department received a call-in reference to a small grass fire at Maine Road and US Highway 385. Upon arrival, fire personnel found the small grass fire and extinguished the fire.
