Funeral services for Earnest Hall, Sr., 83, of Levelland, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023 at First Baptist Church.
The service will be officiated by Minister James Jones. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Visitation and Reflections of Life will be Friday, Jan. 27. and family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland.
Internment will be announced at a later date.
He passed away January 20, 2023 in Levelland. He was born May 31, 1939 in Franklin, TX. to Farris and Hattie Mae Anderson Hall.
He married Ethel Mae Clewis, in 1970 in Levelland. He worked for Massengale Oil Company for 18 years, was a volunteer responder for the Levelland Police Dept. for five years, and was a professional bus driver for the Levelland Independent School District for over 33 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Farris and Hattie Mae Anderson Hall; and spouse of 50 years, Ethel Mae Clewis Hall.
He is survived by daughters: Angela Hall (Orthis R. Smith) and Joyce Clewis (Robert) Huey, both of Levelland, and Paula Hall (Michael) Coleman of Dallas; sons: Earnest (Mary) Hall III. of Whiteface, Curtis Hall, Joshua Hall, and Phillip Donta Hall, all three of Levelland, and Russell Hall and Earnest Jr. (Ashley) Hall both of Dallas; sister, Verna Hall of Amarillo; 22 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, five greatgreat grandchildren.
