LISD nurses met with Kasey McBeath & Robert Dominguez from South Plains Rural Health to learn how SPRHS provides comprehensive health care to patients of all ages.
Individuals can go to SPRHS for basic health care needs, including medical, dental, behavioral health, and optometry services even on Saturday.
South Plains Rural Health Services includes an optical store where patients can purchase glasses and frames after an eye exam, while the on-site pharmacy provides a convenient place to pick up prescriptions. Immunizations and laboratory services are also available.
SPRHS accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most private health insurance plans. They also serve individuals that are not covered by health insurance.
Patients are charged for services on a sliding fee scale based on household size and income.
