The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court will hold a regular meeting Monday at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Courtroom at the Hockley County Courthouse.
Items on the agenda include: -Read for approval the minutes of the special meeting held Feb. 27.
-Consider for approval all monthly bills and claims submitted to the Court and dated through March 6.
-Presentation of press release and certificate from the Texas Association of Counties Risk Management Pool for zero lost time concerning the Workers’ Compensation Program.
-Hear the monthly public assistance report.
-Discuss and take potential action regarding the use of inmate phone funds to purchase four laptops for the Sheriff’s Office.
Consider and take necessary action to accept the 2022 Racial Profiling Report related to motor vehicle stop data collected by the Hockley County Sheriff’s Office.
-Review the Feb. 2023 fire runs as submitted by the City of Levelland -Consider and take necessary action to approve the Earnest Money Contract for tract one: lots one and two, block 32, original town of Levelland, Hockley County, Texas, more commonly known as 824 Austin Street; and tract two: lots nine and ten, block 31, original town of Levelland, more commonly known as 706 and 708 Avenue H, to be purchased with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.
-Discuss and take potential action to approve Subdivision Participation and Release Forms concerning opioid settlements with CVS, Allergan, Walmart and Walgreens.
-Consider and take necessary action to award the bid for one 2022 or newer two-ton dump truck, with no trade in, for use in Precinct four, to be delivered in 90 days.
-Consider and take necessary to approve the elections security quotes as submitted by the elections administrator.
