The Hockley County Commissioners Court will be holding a regular meeting Monday, March 20 at 9 a.m. at the Hockley County Courthouse. The court will begin the meeting with approving the minutes of the previous regular meeting Monday, March 6 at 9 a.m.
The group will also approve all monthly bills and claims submitted to the court and dated through March 20.
Discussion and potential action will be had concerning the approval of application for the use of the courthouse lawn as submitted by the Levelland Chamber of Commerce.
The court will consider and take necessary action to authorize the county judge to execute any and all paperwork necessary to effectuate the purchase of tract one, lots one and two, block 32 and tract two, lots nine and 10, block 31.
Consideration and necessary action will be take to approve the interlocal agreement between Lubbock County and Hockley County concerning road maintenance to CR5620 which is an extension of Kansas Road in Hockley County, located in Precinct 4.
The court will take necessary action to approve ad valorem tax refunds.
Action will approve the monthly reports due as per 114.044 Local Government Code as submitted by the Hockley County District Clerk, Hockley County Clerk, Hockley County Auditor and Justice of the Peace Precincts One, Two, Four and Five.
The group will approve the road crossing for Centurion Pipeline L.P. on Tumbleweed Road located in Precinct Two.
Action will be taken to approve five road crossings for Five Area Telephone, one Santa Fe Road, St. Phillips in Pep, Texas, USA Road, Olympia Road and USA Road, all located in Precinct Three.
Action will be taken to approve the Plat for Lots 1 through 150, Bulldog Estates II, an addition to Hockley County, Texas and located in Precinct Four.
