TxDot began road construction Monday laying asphalt on West Avenue in Levelland. Traffic was reduced to one lane and was escorted by a pilot car from Highway 114 to Houston. Road work in that are was completed by the end of the day. TxDot continued their road work Tuesday, doing more maintenance on Houston. Traffic was reduced to one lane as a pilot car escorted traffic from Avenue I to West Avenue.
