Hockly County Commissioners Court sets regular meeting Mon.

The Hockley County Commissioners Court will be holding a regular meeting Monday, April 3 at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom at the Hockley County Courthouse.

The court will begin their business with the reading and approval of the minutes of the special meeting held at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 27.

The court will also consider and approve all monthly bills and claims submitted to the court dated through April 3.

A monthly public assistance report will be given to the group. The court will consider and take action concerning the mandatory time fram a county officer must deposit all monies collecting into the county treasury as per LGC Sec. 113.022 (a).

A discussion and potential action will be had concerning content value on TAC Risk Management Pool Property renewal.

The court will discuss and take action on the resolution to participate in the High Plains Regional Defenders Office.

The meeting will wrap up with the court considering and potential action regarding the trade in of a 2018 Caterpillar 140M3 and to purchase a 2023 Caterpillar 150 Motor Grader through the buyboard for use in precinct four.
