4/5/2023 - DISPATCH 1:53 PM - CLEARED 2:05 PM LEVELLAND Fire units were dispatched to the 200 block of Duval Drive in reference to a residential fire alarm going off. Upon arrival, it was determined that the system had been unintentionally activted.
4/5/2023 - DISPATCH 1:02 PM - CLEARED 1:37 PM LEVELLAND Fire units responded to South Plains College in reference to a vehicle fire. Once on scene, fire personnel were informed a campus officer had already extinguished the fire.
4/3/2023 - DISPATCH 9:38 AM - CLEARED 9:55 AM LEVELLAND The fire department received a report from the police department regarding a gas smell that was called in from a residence at the 1300 block of third street. After further investigation on scene, it was determined there was no gas located.
3/29/2023 – DISPATCH 10:42 AM – CLEARED 10:51 AM – HOCKLEYCOUNTY
The fire department responded to the 1800 area of Maize road regarding a fire alarm. Upon arrival, fire personnel were advised it was a false fire alarm.
3/29/2023 – DISPATCH 10:10 PM – CLEARED 10:23 PM – HOCKLEYCOUNTY
The fire department was dispatched to the area of Cactus drive and North Cedar avenue regarding an odor. Upon arrival, fire personnel were unable to locate anything in the area.
3/29/2023 – DISPATCH 6:19 AM – CLEARED 7:00 AM – HOCKLEYCOUNTY
Fire personnel was contacted by the police department stating there was a grass fire at East State Highway 114 and South FM 2646. After an investigation, fire personnel found a grass fire across from the Ethanol Plant. Fire personnel extinguished the grass fire.
