Divorce Care is a divorce recovery seminar for recently separated or divorced individuals. It is a video seminar series featuring some of the nation’s foremost experts on divorce and recovery topics. The video seminars are combined with support group discussion of the material present during the video program. It will start April 11th and meet every Tuesday 7-9 p.m. at First Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall at 1011 Houston. Childcare up to fifth grade age will be provided for the participants. Several people in our area have participated in this program in the past. Our leaders have experienced the painful process of divorce. The volunteers for this seminar include Tony and Phyllis Hoop, Orlando Sandoval, Patty Johnson, David Swaringen and Jackie Johnson.
Griefshare is another program of healing and hope that will be provided at First Methodist Church starting April 11 and every Tuesday from 7-9 p.m.. Griefshare is a special weekly seminar and support group designed to help you rebuild your life after losing a loved one. Our difficult days ahead. Volunteer leaders of this group include Lavon Sandoval, Patty Johnson, David Swaringen and Jackie Johnson.
