Police Report

4/9/2023 – 800 block of Ave B

An officer responded to the 800 block of avenue B in reference to a disturbance in the area. The report states a male was placed under arrest for an active warrant.

4/7/2023 - 10th Street

An officer was advised there was a group of approximately 10 kids fighting near KFC. The officer was later advised the group of males were walking West on 10th street. The report states the officer was advised by the group that nothing really happened. A baton was collected and the group was released.

4/7/2023 – 200 block of S college Avenue

An officer responded to Allsups located on South College Avenue at 3:50 a.m. regarding a possible criminal trespass. An arrest was made for criminal trespass.

4/7/2023 – 1600 block of Grant Street

An officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of Grant street in reference to a runaway juvenile. As the officer was taking the report, the juvenile returned home.

4/6/2023 – 100 block of Maple Street

An officer responded to the 100 block of Maple street at 6:03 p.m. regarding a call stating people were inside a residence that should be unoccupied. An arrest was made for evading arrest or detention and resisting arrest, search or transport.

4/4/2023 – 500 block of 12th Street

An officer responded to the 500 block of 12th street at 3:05 p.m. in reference to an assault. A report was later generated for the criminal offense of assault class A.

1000 block of 9th Street

An officer responded to the 1000 block of 9th street in reference to an assault. The report states the suspect fled 20 minutes prior. A report was taken for burglary of a habitation and assault family violence.

4/5/2023 - 4:47 PM - WALMART

An officer was dispatched to the area in reference to a fight. After conducting a field investigation, a report was made for assault causing bodily injury.

4/4/2023 - 100 block of Cherry Street

An officer responded to a residence in the area regarding a damaged vehicle. An informational report was taken.

4/3/2023 - 12:39 PM - 1300 block of Avenue H

An officer received a phone call in regard to a third-party terroristic threat that had been made.

4/2/2023 - 8 PM – 400 block of College Avenue

A officer responded to CVS Pharmacy on the 400 block of College Avenue regarding a theft. A report was generated for the criminal charge of theft less than $100. An affidavit of nonprosecution form was later signed, and the case was shown as closed.
