An officer responded to the Covenant Emergency Room in reference to a disturbance at approximately 9:08 p.m. The report states an emergency detention of an individual was later made.

An officer responded to the 1600 block of 8th Street regarding an accident at Walmart on April 24 at approximately 4:30 p.m. The report states the incident will be a civil matter and a report was generated for informational purposes only.
4/25/2023 – 100 block of 5th Street
An officer responded to the 100 block of 5th Street at approximately 6:16 p.m. regarding a wanted individual at the residence. The report states an arrest was later made for violation of probation.
4/25/2023 – 100 block of House Avenue
An officer executed a local warrant on a male individual at a residence on the 100 block of House Avenue at approximately 7:33 a.m. The report states the male individual was placed in handcuffs and was transported to the Hockley County Jail where he was booked for driving with an invalid license with previous conviction and released to the jail staff without any issues.

An officer responded to the 1300 block of Avenue J at 11:39 p.m. regarding a male subject at a residence. The report states the owner of the residence did not want the male individual at the residence. An arrest for public intoxication was later made.

4/21/2023 – 200 block of South College Avenue
An officer observed a male individual who had an active warrant for near the 200 block of South College Avenue around 7:15 p.m. The officer made contact with the male individual who later became combative. The report states the male individual was taken into custody for the following charges: an active warrant, intent to tamper or fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair, resisting arrest search or transport and possession of marijuana less than two ounces. A female individual with the male was taken into custody for the following charges: assault of a public servant, intent to tamper or fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair and resisting arrest, search or transport.
4/20/2023 – 1800 block of 9th Street
An officer arrived at a residence on the 1800 block of 9th street regarding a warrant service for a male individual at approximately 11:30 p.m. The individual was arrested for the warrant service and possession of a controlled substance in penalty group B between one and four grams.
