West Texas A&M hosted the UIL Region I-2A Track Meet April 29th and 30th .
In the 100 meter dash, Lady Eagle Heather McNabb placed first with a time of 12.21.
In the 200 meter dash, Lady Eagle Heather McNabb placed first with a time of 25.66.
In the 100 meter relay, the Roughette team of Allie McCormick, Jourden Camry, Ariel Hernandez and Natalie Urias placed fourth with a time of 51.54. In the 200 meter relay, the Roughette team of Allie McCormick, Jaelin Wylie, Ariel Hernandez and Natalie Urias placed fifth with a time of 1:49.15. In the high jump, Lady Eagle Ava Grace Falls placed eighth with a jump of 4’10.00'.
In the long jump, Lady Eagle Heather McNabb placed 13th with a jump of 16’01.75'.
In the triple jump, Lady Bobcat Ashtyn Burriss placed sixth with a jump of 34’11.25'.
In the discus, Lady Bobcats Mollie Norman placed second with a throw of 113’09.”
In the 1600 meter run, Roughneck Koy Torres placed first with a time of 4:42.37.
Bobact Micah Zapata placed ninth with a time of 4:56.96.
In the 3200 meter run, Roughneck Koy Torres placed eighth with a time of 10:52.80.
