It’s an exciting time for the seniors of all the schools for Hockley and Cochran County!
Many graduates will begin their college journey this summer or in the coming Fall.
For some, they will begin their careers in the working world. I encourage all graduates to pursue whatever direction they choose with a 100 percent effort.
All paths take work and persistence, but it will be easier choosing a field of study or work that you thoroughly enjoy.
I’ll be the first to say that high school days were the easiest once you begin your journey in the real world.
Life will throw curveballs, but was matters is how they are handled and if you can dust yourself off and get back at it.
Graduates may have their heart set on one goal and things will begin to change in their lives and cause you to make a career change or study a different major.
Not everyone’s path is a straight line. Having a healthy dose of optimism and take the advice of your elders seriously. It may feel like their nagging you, but they may have encountered similar situation and they want to see you grow without facing the same hurdles you may go through.
Make the best out of your situation and best of luck kiddos!
