The Levelland MainStreet Program has partnered with the West Texas Running Club to bring the Run the Mosaics to Levelland.
The 10,000 participants will run by 30-plus mosaics and each one will be marked by a turquoise City of Mosaics Flag to catch the eye of passers-by.
The 2M race and 1M Fun Run, will include 22+. Other offerings that day will include goody bags for the runners, and pre-ordered t-shirts, food offerings, the chance to put a tile in the commemorative community mosaic, upon race completion.
The event is scheduled for June 10, with a one mile fun run, two mile run and a 10K.
Online signup’s expire the Wednesday before race day at 12 p.m.
The 10K will begin at 7:30 a.m. The two mile run will begin at 8 a.m. and the one mile run will start at 9 a.m.
An entry fee of $8 will be for WTRC members and non-member kids ages four through 12. No race t-shirt will be provided. A $20 fee will be for non-members for the two mile run and 10K with no t-shirt provided.
A fee of $25 will be for WTRC members running the twomile and 10K. That is also included for the kids ages seven through 12 in the two-mile run. A t-shirt will be included.
