Hockley County Commissioners Court sets regular meeting Monday

The Hockley County Commissioners Court will be holding a regular meeting, Monday, June 5, at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom located at the Hockley County Courthouse in Levelland.

The court will read for approval the minutes of the special meeting held on Monday, May 22.

Additionally, the court will approve all monthly bills and claims submitted by the court dated through June 5, and hear a monthly public assistance report. The court will consider and take necessary action to approve the Rate Change Amendment from Integrated Prescription Management which is tabled item six from a previous agenda dated May 22. Said language is hereby amended to remove, “concerning Texas IHC rate changes.”

The group will also consider action to approve the irrevocable letter of credit as submitted by First Bank & Trust.

Discussion and potential action will be had to approve the service contract with GIF Services, LLC, to aid in asbestos abatement specification and contract bidding.

The court will also consider and take action to approve the acceptance of a memorial donation sent by Fifth Street Baptist made by Reeda York on behalf of her father, John Moonen to the Hockley County Sheriff’s Office in the amount of $75 to be use for deputy training.

The court will also consider and take action to approve the Continuation Certificate of Brandon Lewis, Hockley County Sheriff’s Office which is tabled item nine from a previous agenda item date May 23.

The court will wrap up the meeting with consideration and necessary action to approve a road crossing for Beryl Oil and Gas, LP on Cheyenne Road in Precinct Three.
