A one vehicle crash resulted in the death of Linda Danielle Garza, 38, of Whiteface, Friday morning.
Department of Public Safety reports state Garza was traveling south on Santa Fe Road, roughly three miles northeast of Whiteface when both right tires went of the edge of the roadway.
The preliminary investigation states Garza was operating a 2000 Chevrolet C-10, overcorrected to the left, causing the vehicle to travel back across the roadway and into the field east of Santa Fe Road. The vehicle then collided with a boulder in the field.
Garza was pronounced dead on the scene due to injuries sustained during the crash.
