6/19/2023 200 block of Hicks Place
An officer responded to the 200 block of Hicks Place at the request of the Lubbock Police Department at 1:56 p.m. A warrant service was completed at the location for a parole violation warrant.
6/18/2023 – 500 block of South College Avenue
An officer observed a silver vehicle traveling North on the 500 block of South College Avenue at approximately 4:04 a.m. with a defective tail lamp. The officer conducted a traffic stop in the United parking lot which resulted in a male individual being arrested and transported to the Hockley County Jail for driving while intoxicated MA.
6/15/2023 – 1800 block of 9th Street
An officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of 9th Street at 8:40 p.m. to assist the Hockley County Deputies. A report for assault or family violence and aggravated assault to a date, family or household with a deadly weapon was generated with three suspects at the time.
6/16/2023 – 900 block of Avenue B
An officer conducted a warrant service on the 900 block of Avenue B at 12:02 p.m. The contact resulted in a warrant arrest.
6/14/2023 – 1000 block of Sherman Avenue
An officer was dispatched to Park Terrance Apartments & Tower Arms Apartments at 6:14 p.m. in reference to the theft of a trailer hitch. A report for theft between $100 and $750, a class B misdemeanor, was generated.
6/14/2023 – 1600 block of Austin Street
An officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of Austin Street at 7:23 p.m. in reference to an assault that occurred at a different location. After conducting a field investigation, the charge of assault of a pregnant person was filed.
6/14/2023 – 100 block of Clubview Drive
An officer was dispatched to the Stripes Convenience Store on the 100 block of Clubview Drive 8:29 p.m. and was advised of a possible intoxicated male open carrying a firearm in the store. After an investigation was conducted, a report was generated with two charges filed; possession of a controlled substance less than one gram in penalty group one and unlawfully carrying a weapon.
6/14/2023 – 100 block of Flint Avenue
An officer responded to the 100 block of Flint at 10:34 p.m. regarding a domestic disturbance. Two suspects were later arrested for assault or family violence and a report was generated for criminal mischief with one suspect at the time.
6/13/2023 – 600 block of South Cedar Avenue
An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of South Cedar Avenue at approximately 3:20 a.m. in reference to a stolen vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted and an arrest was made for theft or unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
6/12/2023 – 1400 block of 12th Street
While on patrol, an officer observed Daniel Torres standing on his porch. The officer knew he had felony warrants for his arrest and made contact with Torres. The officer ran Torres through dispatch for warrants and was advised he had three outstanding warrants in Hockley County. Torres was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Hockley County Jail for obstruction or retaliation, possession of a controlled substance less than one gram in penalty group one and resisting arrest, search or transport.
6/12/2023 – 200 block of Pecan Street
An officer was advised a male individual was running from a Captain on the 200 block of Pecan Street at 11:23 a.m. The officer arrived to the area and one male was placed into custody after an effective taser deployment. The report states the individual was arrested on a warrant service and the offense of evading arrest or detention.
6/12/2023 – 800 block of Avenue B
An officer conducted a traffic stop around 3:29 p.m. on the 400 block of North Sherman Avenue. After completing a field investigation, a male individual was arrested for three local warrants and transported to the Hockley County Jail with no issues.
6/12/2023 – 500 block of 8th Street
An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of 8th Street at 1:40 p.m. regarding harassment. After conducting a field investigation, a male individual was transported to the Municipal Court in reference to two local warrants.
6/12/2023 – 1700 block of Avenue H
An officer responded to the Municipal Court at 10:08 a.m. in reference to a wanted subject. After conducting a field investigation, a female individual was arrest for a local warrant for disregarding a traffic control device and transported to the jail with no issues.
6/11/2023 – 400 block of Avenue L
An officer conducted a traffic stop on the 400 block of Avenue L at 3:32 p.m. for not signaling within proper distance. An arrest was later made for driving with an invalid license.
6/11/2023 - 300 block of Pine Street
An officer responded to the 300 block of Pine Street regarding a hit and run accident at 11:10 a.m. that occurred the previous night. A report was generated for duty on striking an unattended vehicle with no suspects at the time.
6/11/2023 - 100 block of Detroit Avenue
An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Detroit Avenue at 8:53 a.m. in reference to a phone message regarding information. A report for burglary of a habitation was later generated with one suspect at the time.
