The Levelland City Council will be holding a regular meeting Monday, July 24 at 6 p.m. at city hall.
The items on the agenda are as follows: - consider and take necessary action to approve the minutes of the July 10th, 2023, regular meeting and July 11th, 2023, special meeting; - consider and take necessary action on an interlocal agreement between the City of Levelland and the South Plains Association of Governments to provide 911 Public Safety Answering Point Services; - consider and take necessary action on a Fire Service Agreement with Hockley County to provide fire suppression in the county; - consider and take necessary action regarding an Encroachment License and Agreement for 908 Avenue K, Block 146, lot 11 S. 67' & Lot 12 S. 67', Levelland, Hockley County, Texas requested by Raquel Clewis; - discussion and take necessary action regarding board appointments to the City of Levelland boards and commissions; - consider and take necessary action to award bid for the Levelland Animal Control Truck; - convene into executive session in accordance with Tex. Gov’t Code §551.074 Personnel Matters to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee. (City Manager); - consider and take necessary action on items related to the executive session; and - hold a budget work session for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget.
The council will also be holding a budget workshop Tuesday, July 25 at 6 p.m. at city hall.
