The South Plains College Board of Regents will be holding a regular meeting Thursday, August 10, at 12:30 p.m.
The agenda items regarding the meeting are as follows: - the vice president for academic affairs will discuss the SACSCOC Focus Report and QEP update; - the vice president for student affairs will cover the 2022-2023 Quarter Three Reported Violations of Policy FH, Summer II 2023 Enrollment Report, Fall 2023 Enrollment update and the Fall 2023 Housing Occupancy update; - the vice president for business affairs will give a Tax Office Report, Financial Report, discuss HEERF Expenditures, payments on callable bonds and consider transferring funds to Capital Improvements and discuss resale of property; - the vice president for institutional advancement will give a scholarship application update and talk about new employee orientation; - the President’s Report will consist of discussion of the Proposed 2023-2024 Budget, establish Proposed 2023-2024 Tax Rate, schedule a Proposed Public Hearing and Vote on Tax Rate, consider an outdoor fitness court proposal and approval of a property insurance proposal.
