8/12/2023 - 4:51 A.M. - HOCKLEY COUNTY
Deputies with the HCSO responded to a residence within the 3000 block of FM 300 in reference to an unattended death.
8/9/2023 - 8:22 A.M. - LEVELLAND
Deputies with the HCSO responded to a residence located near E. 8th Street. A report was made for an improper relationship and sexual assault with another person.
8/7/2023 - 3:55 P.M. - ROPESVILLE
Deputies with the HCSO took a report of a stolen firearm from a motor vehicle in the 3700 block of Killdee Road.
8/7/2023 - 8:17 A.M. - LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER
Deputies with the HCSO were contacted in reference to a disturbance that occurred August 1. A report for terroristic threat was made.
ARRESTSUMMARY
Paul Martinez, 21, of Smyer, was arrested August 13, by DPS for possessing a controlled substance between one and four grams and evading arrest, detention with a vehicle.
Justin Michael Hart, 17, of Sundown was arrested August 13, by the LPD for public intoxication.
Carlos F. Venegas, 40, of Levelland was arrested August 11, by the LPD for tampering, fabricating physical evidence, engaging in organized crime, two counts of theft of property between $2,500 and $30,000, resisting arrest, search or transport and obstruction or retaliation.
Taylor Scott Cravens, 30, of Clarksville, AR, was arrested August 10, by the HCSO for burglary of a building.
Herman Brent Brooks, 46, of Levelland, was arrested August 10, by the LPD for possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, possession of marijuana in a drug free zone and driving while having a disqualified commercial license with a previous conviction.
Adrian Cardona, 35, of Levelland, was arrested August 9, by the HCSO for possession of a controlled substance between four and 200 grams, engaging in criminal activity and manufacturing, delivering a controlled substance between one and four grams.
James Henry Cavasos, 34, of Levelland, was arrested August 9, by the HCSO for violating promise to appear, open container law and speeding over 10% of the posted limit.
Melvin Charley, 41, of Mariano Lake, NM, was arrested August 9, by the LPD for public intoxication.
Jaden Johnson, 28, of Lubbock, was arrested August 9, by the HCSO for assault causing bodily injury to a family member. Jose Israel Lagunas Rivera, 34, of Houston, was arrested August 7, by the HCSO for driving while intoxicated and fraudulent use or possession of identifying information.
Destiny Yvonne Torres, 27, of Levelland, was arrested August 9, by the HCSO for assault causing bodily injury to a family member.
Vanessa Danelle Vasquez, 34, of Lubbock, was arrested August 8, by the LPD for possession of a controlled substance between four and 400 grams and driving while intoxicated, second.
