An officer with the LPD conducted a traffic stop and an arrest was made as a result.
8/19/2023 - 2000 block of Mustang Drive - 9:30 A.M.
LPD officers were dispatched to a residence within the area in reference to a dog bite. A report was taken and forwarded to the Levelland Animal Control.
8/17/2023 - 100 block of Maple Street - 3:52 P.M.
Two officers with the LPD were dispatched to a residence within the are to conduct a warrant service. After further investigation, one adult male was transported to the Hockley County Jail.
8/17/2023 - 600 block of 10th Street - 3:44 A.M.
An officer with the LPD conducted a traffic stop within the area. An arrest was made as a result.
8/16/2023 - 500 block of College Avenue - 6:03 P.M.
The Levelland Police Department received a call regarding a reckless driver. An arrest was made as a result.
8/14/2023 - 100 block of S. College Avenue - 5:09 P.M.
An officer with the LPD was dispatched to EZ Pawn in reference to a theft that had occurred. Upon arrival, the officer was informed that a female individual had stolen two PS5 game systems. A report was taken as a result.
8/13/2023 - 400 block of Avenue B - 6:40 P.M.
A Levelland Police Officer was dispatched to residence within the area regarding a dog bite. A report was taken as a result.
8/13/2023 – 1900 block of S. College Avenue – 4:05 A.M.
An officer with the LPD was dispatched to Covenant Emergency Room for a disturbance. As a result, an arrest was made.
8/11/2023 – 1800 block of 9th Street – 5:36 P.M.
An officer with the LPD was dispatched to a residence within the area to conduct a warrant service. An arrest was made as a result.
8/11/2023 – 300 block of Avenue J – 11:39 P.M.
An officer with the LPD was dispatched to Covenant Emergency Room for a dog bite that occurred at a residence in the 300 block of Avenue J. A report was taken as a result.
8/9/2023 – 100 block of Hicks Street – 3 P.M.
Levelland Police Officers conducted a warrant service on a male individual who had several outstanding municipal warrants at a residence within the area.
8/8/2023 – 1800 block of Avenue I – 9:09 P.M.
An officer with the LPD was dispatched to a residence within the area in reference to a sexual assault. A report was taken as a result.
8/8/2023 – 11:04 A.M. – 1500 block of 15th Street
Two officers with the Levelland Police Department were dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center in reference to an assault that had already occurred. After an investigation was conducted, a report was filed and photos were taken.
8/8/2023 – 400 block of 10th Street – 12:59 A.M.
As an officer with the LPD was patrolling the area, the officer observed a black Infiniti illegally pass the officer and run a stop sign. As a result, an arrest for driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance, penalty group two, was made.
8/7/2023 – 8:20 A.M. – 1200 block of S. College Avenue
Officers with the LPD were dispatched to a residence in the 1200 block of S. College Avenue in regard to a suspicious person. Following an investigation, one adult male was arrested and transported to the Hockley County Jail.
8/5/2023 - 500 block of Denver Avenue - 1:38 P.M.
An officer with the LPD was dispatched to a residence within the area in regard to a fight in progress, After further investigation, the fight was deemed mutual combat and an arrest was made for driving while license was invalid.
