BACK IN BUSINESS - South Plains College and its’ Law Enforcement Program have been utilizing firing ranges outside of their campus for an extended period of time due to much needed renovations for their in house firing range. Program Chair Kenny Burns highlighted the importance of having a fully functional firing range on their main campus in Levelland where they are located to conduct the necessary training for their academy. With the recent upgrades, the new system in place will allow for police firearms qualifications on all five lanes. In addition to its completion, the range will also be available to the public for use while school is in session.
