A Levelland teen has died following a one vehicle wreck in Hockley County Sunday afternoon.
According to a DPS report, a preliminary investigation revealed that a 2006 Chevy Silverado was traveling north on Hartford Road, just south of Jamaica Road. The vehicle traveled off the roadway’s left side and into the ditch on the west side. The driver overcorrected to the right, causing the truck to travel across the road and into the opposite ditch. The vehicle rolled before coming to final rest. The individual was killed due to injuries sustained during the crash. The driver of the vehicle was an unnamed 15-yearold from Levelland.
