Veterans Day is a time to remember the service of our veterans.
We get to express our gratitude and appreciation for the liberties afforded to us in our country. These individuals gave all that they could to protect our great nation’s freedoms and their sacrifices will never be forgotten.
In the words of John F. Kennedy, “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”
Please join us on Friday, November 10, 2023, as we honor our local veterans. The Levelland ISD Veterans Day Program will be held in the Levelland Middle School Auditorium on Friday, November 10th, beginning at 11 a.m.
Numerous students have worked hard to prepare this program and take great pride in the opportunity to thank each of our veterans. We hope that you can join us and your attendance is greatly appreciated.
The Thanksgiving holiday is in a few short weeks. This is another great opportunity to think of everything that we are grateful for and the many ways we can count our blessings. To be thankful is to be happy and to not take anything in our lives for granted.
