Hockley County Elections Administrator Jody Rose has issued a reminder for residents of Hockley County that filing for the 2024 party primaries is open and several offices will appear on the ballot for March 5th, 2024.
The ballot will include the election for Hockley County Sheriff, Tax Assessor, and County Attorney.
Hockley County Commissioner’s office for Precincts One and Three are also on the ballot as well as constables for precincts one, two, four and five and Justice of the Peace for Precinct One in an unexpired term.
The county chair office for the Hockley Republican Party also will appear in 2024.
The filing deadline is open and will remain open until December 12th, 2023 at 6 p.m.
