11/13/2023 – ANTON Deputies with the HCSO responded to Anton ISD in reference to a forgery. A report for Forgery Financial Instrument was made.
11/11/2023 – ANTON Deputies with the HCSO were dispatched to the 600 block of Duke Street in reference to an assault.
11/10/2023 – HOCKLEY COUNTY
Dispatch advised deputies with the HCSO of a complainant needing to speak with someone in reference to their vehicle being stolen. Dispatch advised the individual was working in a field near the intersection of FM 41 and Kiwi Road within the county when the vehicle was stolen from the area. The caller advised that they did not authorize anyone to take, poses or utilize the vehicle. When asked about the ownership of the vehicle, the caller advised the girlfriend was the owner. Contact with the vehicle owner was made and advised the deputy that the she was not in possession of the vehicle and did not authorize anyone to take possession of the vehicle.
11/9/2023 – ANTON A deputy with the HCSO was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Ellwood in reference to a forged check. A report for Forgery Financial Instrument was made.
11/9/2023 – HOCKLEY COUNTY
A vehicle pursuit was initiated by HCSO deputies near S. Highway 114 and West Avenue. The driver was subsequently arrested and a report for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group One, between four grams and 200 grams, Unlawful Possession Firearm by Felon, Evading Arrest, Detention with Vehicle and Possession of Marijuana less than two ounces was made.
11/8/2023 – LEVELLAND
Dispatch with the Levelland Police Department advised deputies with the HCSO of a disturbance at the 6900 block of Elephant Road. A report for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group One – 1B, less than one gram was made.
11/7/23 – LEVELLAND
Dispatch advised deputies with the HCSO of a disturbance at the 800 block of Verretto Road. A report for Assault Family Member and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group One – 1B, between one gram and four grams was made.
11/7/2023 – HOCKLEY COUNTY
Dispatch advised deputies with the HCSO of a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center. Deputies were advised the complainant was requesting to speak with someone in reference to a theft that had already occurred in the 3100 block of N. U.S. Highway 385. A deputy made contact with the complainant and a report was made for Theft of Property between $1,500 and $20,000.
11/7/2023 – SMYER
Deputies with the HCSO were requested at the 1000 block of 1st in Smyer in reference to a burglary of a building also known to be the United State Postal Office of Smyer. Deputies responded to the scene and assisted the United States Postal Investigators in processing the scene. A report was also taken.
