I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday break and getting back to work feeling refreshed for 2024.
I had a great Christmas, but fell under the weather during the New Year weekend. I spent the entire weekend buried under a pile of blankets watching college football which isn’t the worst thing. The College Football Playoff was the highlight of my weekend even though I slept through bits and pieces of it.
Unfortunately, I was unable to see my little one since he got sick during the week and was already on the mend and I didn’t want to get him sick again.
I am sitting around 60% to 70%, but the show must go on. I will rebound eventually and be ready to take on the world.
I am certainly looking forward this year as it feels like a new slate for myself and I hope it feels the same way for everyone.
I am looking forward to the new faces I will get to meet this year and the familiar faces I get to work with and hopefully 2024 will be better than the previous.
Healthy optimism never hurts and if you want to do something this year, don’t call it a resolution, call it a goal and work hard to get those things done.
