Divorce Care is a divorce recovery seminar for recently separated or divorced individuals. It is a video seminar series featuring some of the nations foremost experts on divorce and recovery topics. The video seminars are combined with support group discussion of the material presented during the video. It will start Jan 16, and meet every Tuesday 7-8:30 p.m. at First Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall at 1011 Houston. Childcare up to fifth grade age will be available for participants. Several people have participated in the past. Our leaders have experienced the painful process of divorce. Volunteers assisting with this seminar include Phyllis Hopp, Orlando Sandoval and Larry Johnson.
Grief share is another support group providing healing and hope that will be provived at First Methodist Church starting Jan 16 and meeting every Tuesday 7-8:30 p.m. It is a special weekly seminar and support group designed to help you rebuild your life after losing a loved one. Volunteer leaders for this group include Lavon Sandoval and Jackie Balch Johnson.
