The Cochran County Stock Show is slated to begin January 10 and conclude January 13 at the Show Barn.
On Wednesday, January 10, weigh-ins begin at 4 p.m. for lambs and goats will follow after.
On Thursday, January 11, barrow weigh-ins will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and the lamb show will begin at 6 p.m. Following the lamb show, the goat show will begin. The lamb and goat showmanship will be held last to conclude the day.
On Friday, January 12, the gilt show will begin at 9 a.m. and the barrow show will begin immediately after followed by the swine showmanship. Steer weighins will be held at 11 a.m. and the heifer show will begin at 3 p.m. followed by the steer show immediately after. The cattle showmanship will conclude the day.
On Saturday, January 13, the ag mechanics show will begin at 8 a.m. along with rabbit weigh-ins and the rabbit show beginning at 9 a.m. A meal will be served at the Morton ISD Cafeteria located at 500 W. Champion at 12 p.m. The awards presentation will begin at 1:30 p.m. followed by the premium sale.
Prize money will be handed out at barn cleanup which has yet to be announced.
