The City of Levelland will be holding a regular meeting Monday, January 22, beginning at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
The following agenda items include: Consider and take necessary action to approve the minutes of the December 18, 2023, regular meeting; Staff update on the progress of the investigation into the Red Flour Beetles in the Kaufman Addition; Staff update on the ordinance regarding Storage of Agricultural Commodities; Consider and take necessary action to appoint board members to the Main Street Advisory Board; City Manager Report: staff updates, project updates, staff, citizen recognition, items of community interest with no action will be taken; Convene into executive session in accordance with Tex. Gov’t Code §551.074 to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee (City Manager; Council appointments); and Convene into executive session in accordance with Tex. Gov’t Code §551.071 to seek the advice from legal counsel about pending or contemplated litigation or where the duties of the attorney under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas conflicts with Tex. Gov’t Code Ch. 551.
