1/24/2024 - LEVELLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL - 3:10 P.M
A LPD resource officer was approached by a counselor at LMS and was advised that two students were planning on meeting at a park to fight. The officer was informed that one of the kids threatened the other by telling him he would bring a gun. The officer was informed there were multiple witnesses, but were saying different things. An informational report was completed.
1/24/2024 - 500 block of Avenue D - 12:15 A.M.
An officer with the LPD responded to a residence within the area in reference to a disturbance. An arrest and report for Violation of Protective Order were made.
1/18/2024 - 1600 block of Wilson Street - 10:16 A.M.
Officers with the LPD executed a warrant at a residence within the area. The subject was apprehended and transported to the Hockley County Jail.
1/17/2024 - 100 block of Elm Street - 5:47 P.M.
An officer was dispatched to the area in reference to an animal bite.
1/13/2024 - 400 block of 8th Street - 10:36 P.M.
An officer with the LPD responded to a residence within the area in reference to an assault. Additionally, an arrest was made for Assault Family Violence and a warrant service.
1/13/2024 - 300 block of Avenue C - 3:58 P.M.
Officers with the LPD conducted a warrant service at a residence within the area. The wanted subject was arrested and transported to the Hockley County Jail.
1/12/2024 - 1300 block of Avenue H - 9:51 P.M.
An officer received information in regard to an officer’s safety. After further investigation, an informational report was made.
1/12/2024 - 200 block of Avenue H - 3:56 P.M.
An officer patrolling within the area conducted a traffic stop. Following a field investigation, one female individual was arrested on a warrant from Midland County and transported to the Hockley County Jail.
1/9/2024 - 100 block of Rip Street - 5:13 P.M.
An officer with the LPD was dispatched to a residence within the area regarding an unattended death.
1/9/2024 – 1300 block of Avenue H – 3:41 A.M.
Officers with the LPD responded to the Law Enforcement Center lobby in reference to a female individual wanting to turn herself in. As a result, the individual was arrested on a local warrant.
1/7/2024 - 100 block of Poplar Street - 1:23 A.M.
Multiple officers with the LPD responded to a resident to the area in reference to a possible disturbance. The suspect was intoxicated walking around the 800 block of Denver. The suspect was apprehended and taken to the Hockley County Jail.
1/6/2024 - 200 block of Cypress Street - 10:47 P.M.
An officer with the LPD was dispatched to an ambulance call within the area. One individual was later detained due to being combative and a report was generated for informational purposes.
1/4/2024 - 100 block of Cypress Street
An officer with the LPD took a report of an incident that occurred on or about October 28, 2023. The officer was advised that someone had broken into their house and stole a gun, tools and Dallas Cowboys jerseys.
1/3/2024 - 1700 block of Avenue H - 12 P.M.
An officer on patrol was dispatched to a residence within the area in reference to a stolen wallet. The individual stated the wallet was not in his truck. The individual remembered the wallet being in his truck when he got out of the vehicle, but realized his wallet was gone. A report for Burglary of a Vehicle was made.
