The Levelland City Council will be holding a regular meeting Monday beginning at 6 p.m. at the City Hall.
Agenda items slated for the meeting are as follows: Consider and take necessary action to approve the minutes of the January 8 regular meeting and the January 22 regular meeting; Staff update on the progress of the investigation into the Red Flour Beetles in the Kaufman Addition; Update from Parkhill on the Wastewater Treatment Plant project; Discussion on draft Ordinance 1077 regarding Storage of Agricultural Commodities; Consider and take necessary action regarding additional funding from the Parks Donation fund for the Lobo Lake Trail Grant Project; Consider and take necessary action to award a bid for the Lobo Lake Trail project; Consider and take necessary action to approve Resolution 2024-02 approving the Municipal Maintenance Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation and authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents; Consider and take necessary action to approve Resolution 2024-03 approving the Landscape Maintenance Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation and authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents; Consider and take necessary action to approve a consulting agreement with Valley View Consulting, L.L.C. to assist the City in its Primary Depository Request for Applications (the “RFA”) solicitation process, generating a bank services RFA, analyzing the responses, and arriving at a primary depository recommendation for the new contract period; Consider and take necessary action to approve an Interlocal Agreement with The Alliance for Community Solutions Ltd and the City of Levelland for public safety notifications and other related matters; and Consider and take necessary action on Resolution No. 2024-04 authorizing the submission of a grant application for police equipment through the Criminal Justice Grant Program for an incinerator for proper destruction of certain evidence, Fiscal Year 2025, Grant #5801301.
