SAFETY IS KEY - All law enforcement officers within the state of Texas are required to a minimum of 16 hours of active shooter training provided by ALERRT. In order to bridge the gap in training periods, the Levelland Police Department constructed a basic active shooter training module to aid new officers with the LPD and SPC to provide them with training in the case of an active shooter incident.
