KLBK’S METEOROLOGIST - South Elementary third graders have been studying the weather and were treated to special guest Jacob Riley speaking to them earlier about all things meteorology. Mr. Riley is KLBK’s Chief Meteorologist and encouraged the kids to learn lots of math and science and go to college if they want to be a meteorologist. He explained how meteorologists gather the weather using satellite data, balloons and observation sites. He talked about high and low pressure. He made sure that students were going to make sure they have a safe place in case of bad weather too.
