Commissioners Court sets meeting Monday

The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court will be holding a regular meeting April 1, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Hockley County Courthouse.

Agenda items slated for the meeting are as follows: Read for approval the minutes of the regular meeting held March 18; Read for approval all monthly bills and claims submitted to the court and dated through April 1; Hear the monthly Public Assistance report; Consider and take necessary action to approve the purchase of Axon Taser devices, equipment, and training on quote #Q-54048045294.716RS to replace outdated hardware for use by the Hockley County Sheriff’s Office using SB22 funds; Consider and take necessary action to approve the purchase of Panasonic Toughbooks, docking stations, and support services through Computer Transition Services Inc. (CTSI) on quote #025327 to replace outdated equipment for use by the Hockley County Sheriff’s Office using SB22 funds; Consider and take necessary action to approve the request of Ag Agent, Wes Utley to travel out-of-state to attend the National Conference for Ag Leadership in Washington, D.C.; Consider and take necessary ection to approve the content value on the TAC Risk Managment Pool Property Renewal, which was tabled March 18; Consider and take necessary action to approve the Official Bond and Oath of Mariah Hernandez, Clerk, Justice of the Peace, Precinct #5; and Consider and take necessary action to approve Ad Valorem tax refunds.
