Another Day Whith Dom !

As a first time parent, I never realized how much chaos came with getting little one’s involved with youth sports.

My son had his first t-ball game on Monday and it was the most hectic and hilarious thing I have ever seen. Trying to get tiny balls of energy to stand still and pay attention for about an hour is the most stressful and funny thing to see.

Having our kids go outside and play with their friends or other children is easy enough, but trying to find some semblance of order and structure is another thing.

I really want to share my appreciation for the coaches who take the time out of their busy schedules to try to wrangle these kids and teach them how to play various sports. Additionally, the folks that work to get these youth leagues put a tremendous amount of time into making them happen.

Travel ball is one of the biggest leagues for any sport, but I think that has pulled a lot of attention from the youth leagues our local communities put together. If you or someone you know who has children that do not play sports, youth leagues are a great way to get their feet wet and learn valuable lessons while playing with old and new friends.

It is a great thing to see these kids enjoy themselves playing a game they are learning about.
