The South Plains College Board of Regents will be holding their monthly meeting Thursday, May 9, beginning at 4 p.m. in the Administration Building.
Items planned for the meeting include: Canvass election returns; Administer oath of office; Organization of board of regents;
The vice president for academic affairs will discuss employee service awards, curriculum changes and a associate degree nursing update; The vice president for student affairs will provide a graduation update, discuss student awards, State of Texas Executive Order – GA-44 Notification and TEC 51.3525 (TX 88th Session – SB17DEI Law) update; The vice president for business affairs will provide a Tax Office Report and Financial Report; The vice president for institutional advancement will provide a South Plains College Foundation Scholarship Budget Update; and The president’s report will focus on the consideration of construction manager at risk for the Natatorium and legislative update
