The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court will be holding a regular meeting on the June 10 at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Courtroom.
The items slated for the meeting are as follows: Read for approval the minutes of the regular meeting on May 20 and the emergency meeting held June 4; Read for approval all monthly bills and claims submitted to the Court and dated through June 10; Hear the monthly Public Assistance Report; Hear an update from Danny Barrett of Perdue Brandon Fielder Collins & Mott LLP on collections for Hockley County; Discussion and potential action concerning approval of the proposed Guaranteed Maximum Price Recap for the Hockley County Jail Renovation; Discussion and potential action to approve use of additional American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds for capital case expenses; Consider and take necessary action to approve the Continuation Certificate and Rider for Jeanette Strickland formerly known as Jeanette Jeffcoat, Office Administrator, Mallet Event Center; Consider and take necessary action to approve the road crossing for Texland Petroleum LP on Chickadee Road located in Precinct One; Consider and take necessary action to approve the plat for Bulldog Estates II, Lots 75-106, an addition to Hockley County, Texas located in Precinct Four.
