KLVT Radio announces new broadcasting team

Cute Boots Broadcasting, llc, KLVT Radio has announced a new addition to the Good Morning Texas, News and Station Management.

Cute Boots Broadcasting/ KLVT Radio introduced their new Station Manager and News Director Casey Cowan. Cowan is not new to radio. In fact, he grew up with his father calling sports for KZZN and KLVT and he even did some stints in the sports chair for KLVT in his early years. Casey hails from Littlefield, has family roots in Levelland, and has made Lubbock his home in recent years.

He will be the new host of Good Morning Texas, along with co-host Todd Wiiest, newly promoted Sports Director for KLVT, and Tania Moody, who will be returning to the chair during this transition, as they are looking to round out the team with one final member.

Cowan stated, “I’m excited and honored to be joining the KLVT family and am looking forward to connecting with our listeners in Levelland and beyond. KLVT has a proud tradition of dedicated service to our community and I’m excited to contribute to that tradition.”

Casey has been active in radio in West Texas since 2005 in duties such as on-air host for political and sports talk formats, with KFYO, KKAM and KTTU as well as various roles for KLBB and KLLL. He brings experience in digital and over the air imaging, audio and video production, content creation, social media coordination and general show organization. You may also recognize him from his work with the podcast Locked On Texas Tech.
