The Wallace Theater summer camp presents “Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. June 21-22

Do you remember watching cartoons on Saturday morning? What about “School House Rock?” This animated show taught children how to unpack their adjectives, memorize the Preamble to the Constitution, and discover that ‘Three is a Magic Number.’ These episodes covered grammar, history, science, social studies, and math in such a fun manner that the series became a pop culture phenomenon.

On Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22 Wallace Theater Summer Campers will present Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. This show brings the classic educational songs to life on stage, offering a vibrant, engaging way for children and adults alike to learn about subjects ranging from grammar to government.

“The Wallace Theater's Summer Camp has truly transformed into a hub of creativity and learning, offering students an immersive journey into the world of theater. From the initial auditions to the final bows, each camper is experiencing the thrill of bringing a musical production to life,” said Randal Ramirez- Camp Director. “This year’s camp has been a completely unique experience. Campers are not only honing their artistic skills but also gaining invaluable teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
