The Young Emerging Leaders of Levelland (YELL) at Levelland High School have made the holiday season brighter for local families through their inspiring participation in a Community Service Toy Drive.
Partnering with Hockley County Public Assistance and LOVE Levelland, these dedicated students worked hard to collect toys that will bring joy to children across the community this Christmas.
“The YELL students really came through this season,” Cristal Issacks, LISD YELL sponsor. “Their efforts demonstrate the power of young leaders to make a significant impact. We couldn’t be prouder of their commitment to helping others and their passion for giving back.”
This initiative highlights the strength of Levelland’s partnerships between its schools, local businesses, and community organizations. The collaboration not only ensures the success of meaningful projects like the toy drive but also teaches students the value of civic engagement and teamwork.
The Young Emerging Leaders of Levelland program encourages high school students to develop leadership skills and engage in projects that positively impact the community. Their efforts this holiday season reflect the program’s mission to foster growth, compassion, and responsibility among Levelland’s next generation of leaders.
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to all the businesses and community members who supported this toy drive. Together, we’re making a difference and ensuring the holiday spirit reaches every corner of Levelland.
