Levelland Breakfast Rotary Club hosts taco dinner January 14

The Levelland Breakfast Rotary Club will host a taco plate dinner during the Levelland Loboettes and Lobos vs. Big Spring varsity basketball games on Jan. 14 in the High School Commons.

The “walking tacos” plate dinners will be served from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. and will consist of tortilla chips, seasoned ground beef, lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheese, toppings, iced tea and dessert. Cost is $8 per plate.

The Levelland Loboettes will take on the Big Spring Lady Steers at 6:15 p.m., followed by the Levelland Lobos varsity matchup with Big Spring at 7:30 p.m.

“We invite all Loboette and Lobo fans to take part in our taco dinner prior to the start of the varsity games,” said Jimmy Stratton, Breakfast Rotary Club President. “This is a new project for our Rotary Club, and we are looking forward to supporting Levelland High basketball this season.”

Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the club’s college scholarship program and other community projects involving youth.
